A haven for the global artistic soul

Ethnoscape Art is a small creative studio based in Norway, celebrating the rich tapestry of human culture through visual expression. The name joins two ideas: ethno, the many cultures and traditions of the world, and scape, the landscapes we move through.

Our pieces are inspired by traditions from around the world, from West African mudcloth and woven textiles to Japanese wabi-sabi, the mandala and the single drawn line. We approach every source with respect: we take inspiration from these forms rather than copying sacred or traditional designs, and translate them into calm, contemporary abstraction for everyday spaces.

Every collection follows the idea of flow: colour that moves like water, lines that breathe, and quiet space that lets the eye rest.

Our artworks are designed using digital tools, including AI image generation, then carefully curated, refined and prepared for print by Ethnoscape Art.
