Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Welcome to Ethnoscape Art (ethnoscapeart.com). These terms apply when you use this website and when you buy one of our digital products. By placing an order you accept these terms.
1. Who we are
Ethnoscape Art is a small creative studio based in Norway that makes contemporary digital art inspired by world cultures. You can reach us at hello@ethnoscapeart.com.
2. Digital products
Products sold in our shop are digital downloads (printable art files). Nothing is shipped. After payment you receive a download link by email. Please check the sizes and format described on the product page before you buy. Planners and journals with our art that are listed on Amazon are sold and delivered by Amazon under Amazon's own terms.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Payment is handled securely by our checkout and payment providers; we never see or store your card details.
4. Right of withdrawal and refunds
Because our products are digital content delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree to immediate delivery. Under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven § 22 n), the 14-day right of withdrawal then ends once the download is made available to you.
If a file is faulty, incomplete or does not match its description, write to us within 30 days and we will send a corrected file or give you a full refund. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
5. Licence: how you may use our files
When you buy a product you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to download, print and display it in your own home or private space, and to print a copy as a personal gift.
You may not share, resell, sublicense or redistribute the files, upload them to other websites, use them in products for sale, or use them for commercial purposes without a separate written licence. All artwork, designs and text remain the property of Ethnoscape Art. For licensing enquiries, contact us.
6. About our artwork
Our artworks are designed using digital tools, including AI image generation, then carefully curated, refined and prepared for print by Ethnoscape Art. Works inspired by cultural traditions are interpretations made with respect; they are not traditional, ceremonial or sacred artefacts. Colours can look slightly different on screen and in print, depending on your screen, printer, paper and ink.
7. Using this website
You may browse and share links to this website freely. Please do not copy or republish our images or text without permission. We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Links to other websites, such as Amazon or social media, are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
10. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you have a complaint, please contact us first and we will do our best to help. You may also contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet), or ask the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) for help with mediation.
